I know, I know, I should be wearing shoes in the desert because snakes and thorns and other dangerous things, but sometimes if feels really good to feel the earth beneath you. Taking a moment to breathe and of course do an outfit photo shoot because you live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Duh. Anyways, Hello I am Nicole Begay.
This beautiful picture of the mountains above, is taken right in front of where I live. I am proud to be born and raised in Arizona with these beautiful desert landscapes around me. The wind travels from far and is always doing its job, or in this case, making my flowy skirt even more fun to wear!

In this first photo you can see me throwing my shoes off and embracing the earth beneath me. Trust me if you want a good exfoliater just take a walk outside barefoot. Before getting into the clothes I just want to express how important it is to just b r e a t h e. Take 5 mins out of your morning, afternoon, or evening to close your eyes and embrace the silence around you, and b r e a t h e . If you have a busy household and there is a lot going on, take a walk and just think and be in your own space, be invasive. It is so important to know how your feeling and where your emotions come from. I have been doing Yoga for a while now and it has really taught me the importance of b r e a t h i n g , loving yourself, and the journey you are in. EVERY SINGLE human on this planet is different and has been different since human existence. Make your life count because your life is SO important. Find what you value, travel the world, and be here in the now. Appreciate the nature that surrounds you because it will always be there but you probably wont. Just a friendly reminder to love yourself!

Today I have put together this simple outfit to give some inspiration to someone afraid of wearing silk, satin, or rayon. It flows and sits perfectly on the body, exposing your curves and sometimes your belly but the fabric is so soft and luxurious, that no matter where you are at in you fitness journey you'll love the way it makes you feel. So lets get into this simple outfit!
I wanted today's look to be simple yet elegant. We're first going to start by taking off our shoes! These slip-on's are from Target, the brand is Universal Threads Goods co. and I have been wearing these bad boys everyday. They are the most comfortable and convenient sandals I own. But today were taking them off to feel the dirt below!
The simplistic black short sleeved shirt is from Ross. It has a little 90s style lettuce hem on the sleeve and bottom of the shirt. The fabric is 95% Rayon and 5% spandex and it was made in China. I am not to proud of my Ross purchases because of the poor quality of the clothes, so I try my best to stick with thrifting. I also have a thin black neck tie at the waist but you probably can't see it too well.
The only thing about this outfit that is not "simple" is this BEAUTIFUL lux skirt that I found at a thrift store. RIGHT!! What I great find. The fabric is so soft and I am in love with this skirt. It is high waist-ed with a zipper in the back. The brand is Accent USA. The fabric is 100% Rayon and it was made in the USA. This is why I LOVE thrifting! Let me know if you guys like thrift haul videos.

Sometimes I forget my glasses are an accessory because I have been wearing prescription glasses since I was a little pea pod. But these glasses were purchased at my local eye doctor and they are Jimmy Choo. Just like most people lately I have been falling for 90s, and vintage fashion and I am finally embracing that with my accessories as well. I can't wait to get more glasses to change up my look from time to time.
Moving onto our hair. Recently I have been loving hair accessories. It first started with scrunchies, which everyone has been investing in, but now these barrettes and hair clips that are surfacing from the 90s and early 2000s give such a elegant vibe to any look, and it makes it look like you tried, when all you did was put a couple clips in your hair. I was never a big fan of these growing up because of the way the cheap bright colored clips slammed shut into my head and they would end up falling out at recess anyways but now as a young lady these are so stylish and fun to add to any outfit! Last but certainly not least, back when everyone was annoyed with the show Pretty Little Liars my little sister and I watched every season and every episode that came out on Tuesday (if I got that wrong she will correct me). We fell in love with the mystery and the humor of the show and although it is one of my favorites to watch, my sister has surpassed my watch time by a million. Now your probably wondering "why is she talking about this show?" We'll because of my sisters obsession, she is in love with Shay Mitchell (Emily) and has been following her luggage line ever since it came out, and I am sure if Shay came out with light bulbs my sister would buy them in a heart beat. But this super cute wallet/purse is from Shay Mitchell's Natural collection that just launched last month and my sister has me hooked! I love this wristlet set! Ill just leave the link here in case you want to be twins!
